Psalm 42:1-6
Suicide is a sensitive and profoundly painful subject, drawing us towards emotional answers, but what does the Bible say about suicide? Acts 17:28 reminds us that in Him we live and have our being, while in Psalm 42:1 King David laments “Why are you cast down, O my soul?” There are many issues that can devastate us, but it’s been said that when a person loses all hope, he can suddenly die. Suicide is a uniquely human worldwide crisis.
