Mark 13:32

“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.”

Be prepared! This is Jesus’ exhortation to all generations awaiting His return. He says that the day is not known. We are to be walking daily with Jesus in His word and in His power as our walks with Him are to be continuous.

He also says that we will not know the hour. This speaks to us regarding the moment by moment holiness that we as Christians are to be living in and abiding by. We are to be hourly Christians for the day and hour of His return are not known.

Are you frightened by the fact that He may be here momentarily? If you knew Him, then you would be glad to know that He warns you of His arrival because of His desire to have you be with Him. We look forward to meeting Him, as all those who love Him do. Dear Lord, we pray that You would come today and that we would be found ready and waiting hourly, daily for Thee.
