Psalm 31:24

“Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the LORD.” 

You and I will suffer disappointments in this life, but we will never suffer defeat if our hope is in God. Try as you will to trust in the promises of men, but you will always end up frustrated or be let down. On the other hand, your God shall never disappoint you when your heart is right before Him. Don’t be afraid to trust in Him.

 Today is another opportunity for you to see the work of God in your life. Be of good courage because He desires to be the One who will strengthen your heart and not you yourself. It is a good thing to hope in Him. He is excited about anything and everything that is good for you – He loves you! He will do for you that which is for your very best, so why worry? Hope in God, my friend, and rest in His power to perform all that concerns you.
