Isaiah 2:1-22
When a nation becomes wealthy and affluent, it can become self-reliant and self-promoting. Promises of peace and prosperity are made, and people will have control through their power and influence. But, Isaiah warns of the coming terror from the Lord, and everything that was lifted up will be brought down, as the glory of God’s majesty is revealed in Christ’s Second Coming.
