Isaiah 41:1-29
God alone is sovereign. He is not moved by any nations, or rulers, and Isaiah’s prophecy regarding King Cyrus confirms this. Isaiah foretold of King Cyrus as the future King of Persia 150 years before his birth. And, when King Cyrus heard that he was spoken of in the Bible, he decides not to invade Israel.
