Isaiah 9:1-21
Over 700 years before Jesus was born, Isaiah spoke of God’s Son coming down to us. Jesus came to bring salvation. But, in both Isaiah’s time, and in Jesus’ time, His hometown of Nazareth, was despised, unclean and associated with a curse. During the Second Coming, however, it will be a very different story. Jesus will sit on the throne of David, and His government will last forever.
