We’re in a lesson taken from Matthew thirteen, thirty three. We’ll also look at other passages of course, but this one verse in Matthew thirteen serves as our primary text. It’s about The Parable of the Leaven. Now “leaven” is a term we don’t often use in Western culture, yet it is mentioned several times throughout Scripture. Sometimes it’s literal, sometimes symbolic. The question is how did Jesus use the term in this context?
