2 Corinthians 10:1-6
The author of this and other canonical epistles uses many analogies — agricultural, anatomical, political, and so forth. In the passage we’re looking at now, which is in chapter nine, we find military metaphors. Why? Because, whether we like it or not, the true believer is engaged in war! It may be spiritual, but it is warfare nonetheless.
