Luke 2:8-20
When Jesus was born, the angels first announced His coming to the shepherds who were keeping watch over their flocks by night. To experience their glory was beyond what they could ever imagine or think. Jesus came down as the Good Shepherd to give life to those who are despised by others, knowing Himself how it feels to be scorned and rejected by men.
