John 15:20
“Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also.”
Many will quibble about the lateness of the hour regarding the prophetic calendar, but the Church can no longer dispute that there is an unprecedented hostility toward truth taking hold.
SPEAK UP
Now is the time, today is the day that we must stand strong and confront the cancel culture crowd currently flexing its muscles. Monuments and mascots may be in their crosshairs now, but if they can deem good old Dr. Seuss controversial and inappropriate, know this – your Bible is next.
Bullies love to prey on the weak. As a kid, I learned that the best way to deal with the playground bully was to let him know, right from the get-go, that he didn’t intimidate me.
It often meant a fight, but whenever I took the initiative and refused to back down, I got left alone. This is how you face intimidation.
COMMISSIONED
Jesus’ parting words to His disciples directed them to go out into all the world, and 2,000 years later His commission still remains. You and I are called to step into the public arena, but the minute we do, we’re guaranteed the same hostility that Jesus received. Don’t let that stop you. The gospel of Jesus Christ is exactly what this culture needs. Their claims of being “woke” are unfounded. Truth is, they are spiritually comatose and in need of awakening to the peril bearing down on them.
I urge you to champion the Word of God.
Put away the distractions that compete for your time and attention.
Strengthen yourself in the Bible like never before.
We are at a pivotal point. It is time to go out and live fearlessly. Walk and do and speak like you’re confident that you’re going to Heaven – because you are!
