Galatians 5:13““For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.” (AMPC) What you’re about to read is for the Christian only. A very important truth is that one of our greatest reasons you have been set free from the bondage of this world is to liberate you for service unto Him. No greater example did Christ leave us than that we would be actively and practically serving one another in this life. In fact, every Christian ought to be able to answer the following questions: What areas of ministry are you involved in? What service are you lovingly and obediently offering to the body of Christ? Each of us is not only called to be heaven-bound, but to be set free right now! When we serve one another, we are exercising the greatest freedom that a soul can know. Ministering in Jesus’ name is the most exhilarating, energizing and rewarding venture that a human can employ. Jesus said in John 12:26, “If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.” Apparently, Christians ought to be serving one another. So then, follow these few steps of faith. First of all, ask yourself where the Lord might be calling you to serve. Next, open your eyes; look around and see if there is anything that can be done that would bless others.
