Psalm 65:11“You crown the year with Your goodness, and Your paths drip with abundance.” There is always a kind of freshness to the arrival of a new year. Somehow we sense the need of a renewal in our commitment to the Lord. As we consider the verse above, we can embrace this coming year knowing that there will be change and challenges, but in and through them all, God has promised us His goodness and His abundance. What does this year hold? Could it be the year that ushers in the Lord’s return for His Church? Is it to be a year of growth and advancement for His kingdom? We may not know what tomorrow holds, but praise be to Him who holds tomorrow! May the Lord our God have His way with His people and with His Church. Lord Jesus, take this work of Yours and plot Your course. Keep us ever before Your throne on bended knee and thankful in heart.
