Psalm 62:6

“He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be moved.”

Naïve and simple is the Christian who knows nothing of the distresses that come against the Lord’s people. This world is filled with adversities and trouble and the followers of Jesus Christ are not exempt from such attacks. If we determine to make God our defense we shall succeed and not be moved. Dear saint, rejoice that Jesus is your rock and salvation because no one can ever take that away from you. Never look to man to be your protection, for God will see to it that whoever that man might be will indeed fail to protect you. Our defense is of God and it is in Him we must trust!This day, be encouraged that, “…the Lord knows those who are His…” but the violent man and the liar shall perish in their devices. Let us determine to look to God and see great things.
