Isaiah 55:11
“So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”
I can’t begin to express in words the joy that this passage brings to my heart! In my days as a pastor, I have seen the Word of God go forth like a missile into the hearts of those who hear it. The love and friendship that has been generated through Jesus Christ is limitless.
When God sends His Word out into the world, we had better be ready for what will follow. His Gospel is the tool of love that He employs towards His children. It is powerful and knows no bounds.
Let us pray for the nations and lands of the world that have yet to experience the love of God and the witness of His people. Let us remember that when the Word is preached among the nations, the fruit of such labor will come back upon us in due time.
Thank You Jesus, that You are the One who said that this fruit shall remain forever in Your Kingdom and within our hearts!
