CD Audio Set – The cross signifies God’s love for us and offers something beyond our present condition. God created you, He knows you, and He cares for you. He displayed His love by giving His life for you on the cross at Calvary over 2,000 years ago (John 3:16-17, John 10:10, Romans 5:6-8).
The Bible tells us that we have all sinned and that it is our sin that keeps us from having a relationship with God. Because of that separation, we cannot understand His plan and purpose for our lives (Romans 3:23, Isaiah 59:2, Romans 6:23). Because of His love for us, God made a way to bridge that gap by sending His only Son, Jesus Christ, to pay for our sin and to make a way for us to experience His love, forgiveness, and eternal life. It is only through Jesus that we can have a relationship with God (Romans 5:8, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, Acts 4:12, John 14:6). We must choose to turn away from our sin and believe that Jesus Christ is Savior and Lord (John 1:12, Ephesians 2:8-9, John 3:1-8, Revelation 3:20).
