_______________________________________ “…but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.” The Christian is one who has died to the things of this world. We are held by no other love. The throne within us is the Lord’s and His alone. When we begin to derive our worth outside of Jesus Christ, we stray and pursue the acceptance of man. Reputation is only desirable to those who seek attention. Are we seeking the approval of God or men? I pray that our lives would radiate His example and that we would have the mind of Christ in the way that we live our lives. I pray that we would not seek the approval of others or live as man-pleasers, but only as God-pleasers. May we be like Jesus who thought it more needful to associate with sinners like you and me, living a completely selfless life.
