Romans 10:9-11
“… if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, ‘Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.’”.
As we just celebrated Resurrection morning, we realize that it stands alone as the single most important day in history. You may disagree because of your unbelief, yet the perfect, inerrant Scripture places the resurrection of Jesus Christ as the most important universal event ever!
Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life.” Why did He make such a claim? There is no other religion, belief or source for eternal life in heaven but through Him. Jesus said He was the resurrection because death is real and eternity, with or without God, is real. In fact, whether you believe it or not, you will experience a forever consciousness, which means you will be very much aware of the choice that you made regarding your eternity. The fact remains that the Lord God Almighty desires you to be with Him forever and it would be a tragedy if you chose not to be with Him.
“Confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead and you will be saved.” Say “yes” to Him this day and enjoy eternal blessings forevermore.
