Matthew 7:13-14

“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”.

The Christian life can be wonderfully difficult, but the difficulties should not cause us to faint, but rather to triumph! Before a beautiful gold ring can be made and used for its intended purpose, an artisan must boil the gold to remove its impurities. The Lord has called many of you into His family of grace, but with that call comes life-long preparation and the protocol of heaven.

The work that God is doing in you is intended for a specific call that is fit just for you and for the Master’s use. When our Artisan, God Almighty, and the artwork become one in progress, the product is a result that brings glory and honor to the Lord of creation. Today, are you able to say that the Master is at work in you? Can you say that you know for certain that the gate that you’ve passed through is narrow? If so, that will explain the difficulty of things that may be pressing upon you. Rejoice, for you’re on the right path!
