Amos 3:3

“Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?”

While walking in agreement with God is absolutely necessary, it doesn’t require us to move in lockstep with every other believer.

When we’re devoted to following the will of God for our lives, there will be some who won’t agree. There are countless opinions among believers and disagreement isn’t a crime. Nor does it mean that one is right and the other wrong.

How is it that God can lead one person in a particular way,

but asks another to follow a different path?

The key for each of us is to walk with Him, in biblical truth.

It’s a little like a group of kids running a three-legged race. Paired together, each puts a leg into a burlap sack and runs. As long as they agree to keep their respective leg in the bag and to keep moving forward in unison, everyone makes it to the finish line.

A DIFFERENT PATH

Is the Lord calling you overseas to share the Gospel? Great. Or does He want you to get involved in local politics? An excellent choice as well. Commit to making mature, Christ-like decisions centered in the Word of God and you can confidently follow the path He has appointed for you.

“When you walk, your steps will not be hindered, and when you run, you will not stumble.”

Proverbs 4:12
