_______________________________________________________________ ““For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds…““ In war, lives become the target and a soul taken in battle is one less threat to the opposition. Know that the strategies of Satan aren’t any less literal. The world retreats from God seeing Him as a danger and will even run away from Him. They don’t realize that it is He alone who can rescue them from their impending demise. A war is going on in the spiritual realm that is rarely, if ever, thought about. Do you truly grasp the concept that there is a war raging over you and those you love? God’s love for you is beyond comprehension, but Satan has his own plans and purposes for you. His plan is to inflict as much pain and damage to God’s heart as is demonically possible. Satan hates you simply because you are loved so very much by God. To destroy you is to pain the heart of God. Jesus’ desire is that you open your eyes and understand that your life is a battlefield and you must engage in the warfare. In a conventional war, the plan is simple, defeat the enemy. The attack plan is clear. First, create an element of surprise. Second, aim well inflicting heavy losses. Third, weaken their ranks. Fourth, sustain the assault until the enemy either surrenders, is utterly destroyed or is no longer a threat to your objective. Does your life ever feel like this type of combat zone? Christian, watch your steps carefully for the way is rigged with pitfalls.
