Proverbs 20:7
“The righteous man walks in his integrity; his children are blessed after him.”
God tells us in the Bible how a man ought to live his life, how he should think, conduct himself, and engage with his family, the culture, and the church. A godly man focuses his life on Christ and lives in accordance with God’s Word.
A man’s responsibility is to conduct himself in such a way that is pleasing to God, not just in his spiritual walk but also with the people around him. His priority is first to God and then to His family.
A man portrays godly character when He takes the Word of God and says, “I’m going to do that” regardless of what the world says. Standing for what is right is the essence of the making of a man of God. The more he listens to the Holy Spirit’s leading, the more he will be able to live righteously for the Lord. That is the only way that we, as men, will be able to do what is right and have a character which is continually being shaped and formed by the Bible.
